Samsung Fridge - No Ice
Model: RF30BB6600QLAA
Location: Cape Coral, FL 33990
Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for customer complaint of both ice makers not producing ice for approximately one week. Upon arrival, the customer reported that the ice makers had recently resumed operation. Performed a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation using Samsung HASS to verify refrigerator performance and check for any underlying issues affecting ice production. Ran the Weak Cooling diagnostic test, which passed without any abnormalities. Also completed the HASS Overall Check, which passed successfully with no faults detected. Inspected the water dispensing system and confirmed proper operation with adequate water pressure and flow. Manually initiated a harvest cycle on both ice makers to verify mechanical operation, water valve activation, and proper filling. Both ice makers successfully completed their harvest cycles and refilled with water as designed.
During the inspection, the customer mentioned replacing the refrigerator water filter approximately one week earlier, around the time the ice production issue began. Explained that if the water dispensing system was not adequately flushed after filter replacement, trapped air within the water lines could potentially contribute to temporary interruptions in water delivery and ice production. However, this could not be confirmed as the cause of the original complaint. At the time of service, both ice makers were cycling and filling correctly, the water dispenser was operating with adequate pressure, and all Samsung HASS diagnostic tests passed. No component failures or operational abnormalities were identified. Advised the customer to continue monitoring ice production, as the refrigerator is currently functioning as designed and no repairs are necessary at this time.
