Repair Summary

Checked refrigerator for a reported no-ice condition. Performed diagnostic testing and found error code 39, indicating an ice maker malfunction. Ran the refrigerator's diagnostic tests and verified that the weak cooling test passed successfully. Also inspected the ice maker auger optical sensor and observed the red indicator light illuminated. Uploaded photographic documentation of the diagnostic findings and test results. Based on the active error code and inspection, determined that the ice maker assembly was defective and required replacement.


Replaced the defective ice maker assembly and initiated the ice maker reset/test cycle using the reset button. Verified that the replacement ice maker responded properly and operated as expected during testing. No additional operational issues were identified at the time of service. Advised the customer to allow up to 24 hours for ice production to resume and to monitor the unit for proper operation. Unit checks normal at this time.
