Repair Summary
Customer reported that the oven cooling fan continues running for several hours after oven use, requiring her to shut off the circuit breaker to stop the fan. Customer also stated that on several occasions, she has awakened to find the cooling fan operating even though the oven was not being used. Upon arrival, inspected the unit and confirmed that no cooling fans were operating. Checked the electronic control system and found no stored error codes or active faults.
Performed an operational test by initiating an oven preheat cycle to evaluate cooling fan operation and control response. The cooling fan activated during preheating as expected. Upon turning the oven off, the cooling fan shut down immediately, indicating that the fan control was responding properly during testing. Unable to duplicate the customer's reported intermittent condition. At the time of inspection, the oven was operating as designed, with no abnormalities detected. Advised the customer to continue monitoring the appliance and document any recurrence of the cooling fan operating excessively or unexpectedly, as further diagnosis may be necessary if the condition returns.
