Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for a no-cooling complaint. Upon arrival, verified the compressor and all fans were operating. Connected HASS and found only high temperature error codes with no component failures reported. Inspected the sealed system and found oil residue at the condenser lokring connection, confirming a refrigerant leak (see attached pictures). Replaced the leaking lokring connection, installed a new filter drier, and added an access port. Pressure tested the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen, allowing a 10-minute equalization period followed by an additional 15-minute isolation test. Observed only a minimal pressure loss of approximately 1–2 PSI, indicating the sealed system was holding properly. Evacuated the system to a deep vacuum, charged the unit with the factory-specified 84 grams of R600a, and restored power. Ran a complete HASS diagnostic and submitted a passed overall check to Samsung. Verified the compressor and cooling system were operating normally and advised the customer to allow up to 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach the selected operating temperatures. Unit checks normal.
