Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for an ice maker not producing ice. Upon arrival, cycled the ice maker and verified it completed a harvest cycle. Further inspection revealed the ice room was freezing over, which is a known issue with this model. Explained to the customer that while there are repair kits and replacement parts available, this condition commonly returns over time even after the recommended repairs are performed. Also found the ice bucket cracked and advised the customer that the crack will likely continue to worsen with normal use and the bucket will eventually require replacement. At this time, the customer elected to monitor the unit and replace components only if the condition worsens. No repairs were performed.
