Repair Summary
Checked washer for an intermittent water leak underneath the unit. Customer stated this has occurred at least twice. Noted the washer has a unique drain installation, with the main drain hose connected to an additional hose that runs behind the counters before reaching the drain (see video). Explained that this creates an unusually long drain run and is not a recommended installation, although the customer stated the same setup had been used for years with the previous washer without issue. Ran HASS diagnostics and found no error codes. Independently tested both the hot and cold water valves with no leaks found. Verified the washer drained properly with no leaks. Ran the HASS Overall Check, which passed, followed by a Rinse and Spin cycle, and still found no water leakage. Unable to duplicate the complaint or identify a source of the reported leak at this time. Advised the customer to record the washer if the leak occurs again. If the issue returns, additional diagnostic time will be needed to investigate further. Unit is working properly at this time.
