Repair Summary
Checked washer for abnormal noise. Upon arrival, started a spin cycle and, as the washer increased to higher spin speed, heard a loud abnormal noise coming from the rear tub bearing area. Inspected the spin basket and verified it was properly positioned with no excessive front-to-back or side-to-side movement. Determined the rear tub bearings are failing and the washer would require a tub/bearing repair to correct the noise. Explained the required repair to the customer. Customer declined the repair and decided to replace the washer. No quote was requested. Unit remains operational but has a bearing-related noise.
