Repair Summary
Checked refrigerator for not cooling. Upon arrival, found the unit unplugged. Restored power and verified the fans started operating. The compressor attempted to start but repeatedly kicked out. Tested the compressor and verified the resistance readings were within range. Diagnosed a faulty compressor start device. Provided an estimate, which the customer approved. Replaced the start device and tested operation. Verified the compressor started and remained running with proper amperage. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach proper operating temperatures.
