Also found the lint trap and vent packed with lint. Removed and cleaned the lint buildup and corrected the crushed vent hose. Advised the customer that the exterior vent also needs to be cleaned. Verified proper incoming voltage to the dryer. Disassembled the unit and found the heating element had failed. Vacuumed lint and debris from inside the dryer cabinet and replaced the heater and thermostat kit. Tested operation and verified the drum spins properly and the dryer is cycling heat normally. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: RF27T5241SR/AA 51 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33904 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the bottom ice maker not working. Manually cycled the ice maker and found it did not respond. Verified the fill tube was not frozen. Provided the customer with an estimate for the repair, which was approved. Replaced the bottom ice maker and tested operation. Verified the ice maker is now cycling and operating properly (see video). Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for normal ice production.

Model: WF45B6300AP/US Location: Fort Myers, FL 33905 Repair Summary Checked washer for water leaking from the front rubber diaphragm. Upon inspection, found signs that the unit had been previously worked on. The front panel is dented, and the control panel has a crack inside the dispenser area that is only visible when the dispenser is pulled out. Replaced the rubber diaphragm. Noted that the retaining spring has limited tension; however, the customer stated it has been this way since the unit was new. Tested the washer with the new diaphragm installed and verified proper operation with no further leaks.

Model: WRF767SDHZ02 Location: North Fort Myers, FL 33917 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the fresh food ceiling lights not working. This condition can occur when the freezer light is not functioning. Inspected the freezer light and found it was off. While removing the freezer light to check voltage, all of the interior lights came back on. Suspect a loose connection at the freezer light assembly. Verified all interior lights are now illuminated and operating properly (see before-and-after pictures).

Model: RF31CG7400SRAA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the upper freezer drawer sticking and not closing completely. Customer was also concerned about cooling temperatures. Connected HASS and ran a service diagnostic, which showed no cooling errors. Inspected the freezer drawer and found frost buildup on the rails, causing them to stick during opening and closing. Also found the drawers were overfilled and some items had fallen behind them, interfering with proper operation. Removed the obstructing items and cleared the frost from the rails. Verified the drawers now open and close smoothly and completely. Cycled the ice makers and verified proper operation. Educated the customer on proper freezer loading and ways to help improve ice production. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: NE58K9850WG/AA 04 Location: Fort Myers, FL 33905 Repair Summary Checked cooktop for cracked glass. Replaced the cracked cooktop glass and tested operation. Verified all burners turn on and off properly and are operating normally. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: DW80CG5451SRAA Location: North Fort Myers, FL 33903 Repair Summary Checked dishwasher for a delay start concern. Initially, the complaint was described as the dishwasher being stuck in Delay Start; however, upon inspection, found the LED display was continuously flashing as if the control panel was shorting. Ran HASS diagnostics and verified all other components were operating properly with no error codes or leaks present. Also educated the customer on proper dishwasher installation, including the need for a high-looped drain hose. Customer understood and stated he would correct this after completing the kitchen remodel. Returned and replaced the control panel assembly, transferring the two small control boards and chime from the original assembly to the new panel. Tested operation and verified the display and dishwasher are now working properly (see video).

Model: LSEL6331F/00 Location: Naples, FL 34112 Repair Summary Checked oven for the front left burner not regulating heat properly. Customer stated the burner would intermittently remain on high even when set to low, causing food to burn. Diagnosed a faulty burner regulator. Tested the remaining burners and found them operating properly. Customer also stated the two rear burners did not seem to heat as quickly. Explained that the rear burners are smaller, lower-wattage elements and will heat differently than the larger front burners. Customer understood. Replaced the faulty front left burner regulator and tested operation. Verified the burner now cycles and regulates properly from high to low heat (see video). No other issues found. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: RF32CG5400SRAA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33913 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a no-cooling complaint. Connected HASS and performed the Weak Cooling Test, which failed. Inspected the sealed system and found a refrigerant leak at the condenser Lokring connection. Replaced the leaking Lokring connection and filter drier. Pressure tested the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and recorded a 4 PSI pressure drop over 15 minutes, confirming the repair was successful. Evacuated the sealed system to a deep vacuum and recharged the refrigerator with the factory-specified refrigerant charge. Tested operation and verified the refrigerator is cooling properly. Advised the customer to allow up to 24 hours for temperatures to return to normal. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: WRT518SZFM00 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33990 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for not cooling. Upon arrival, found the unit unplugged. Restored power and verified the fans started operating. The compressor attempted to start but repeatedly kicked out. Tested the compressor and verified the resistance readings were within range. Diagnosed a faulty compressor start device. Provided an estimate, which the customer approved. Replaced the start device and tested operation. Verified the compressor started and remained running with proper amperage. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach proper operating temperatures.
