Model: RF32CG5100SRAA Location: North Fort Myers, FL 33903 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Upon arrival, verified the compressor and fans were running. Ran HASS diagnostics and found no error codes. Completed the Weak Cooling Test, which showed elevated temperatures. Inspected the compressor area and found no visible oil or obvious signs of a refrigerant leak. Suspected a possible sealed-system leak and ordered a filter drier and plug check to pressure test the system. Returned and installed the ordered parts. During the initial pressure test, found the system was slowly losing pressure. Bubble tested the connections and found bubbles forming at the condenser coupler, confirming a refrigerant leak. Removed and replaced the leaking coupler. Pressurized the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and isolated it for 15 minutes. Found no bubbles at any repaired joints and recorded only a 0.6 PSI pressure drop, resulting in a passing pressure test. Evacuated the system to approximately 600 microns and recharged it according to factory specifications. Restored power and verified the compressor and all fans started properly. Set temperatures accordingly and advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for proper cooling temperatures to be reached. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: DV405ETPASU/AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Repair Summary Checked dryer for no heat. Upon arrival, checked the vent static pressure and found readings between 78–80 with the dryer pulled completely away from the wall, indicating a significant ventilation restriction. Made the customer aware of the venting concern. Verified proper voltage at the outlet. Tested dryer operation and confirmed there was no heat being produced. Due to the age of the appliance, advised the customer that a signed waiver would be required before further disassembly, as there is a possibility the unit may not reassemble to its original condition. Customer elected not to proceed with further diagnosis or repair and will purchase a new dryer instead. Prior to beginning service, also pointed out an existing dent on the bottom right corner of the dryer, which the customer acknowledged may have occurred previously. Reassembled the dryer and reconnected it to the electrical supply for the customer.

Model: GRFS2853AFF Location: Naples, FL 34116 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for multiple concerns. Customer pointed out slight waves visible in the fresh food doors when light reflects across the surface at a specific angle. Customer stated the doors did not appear this way when the refrigerator was originally purchased. Explained that I cannot compare the current appearance to the original condition since I was not present during installation over a year ago. The condition does not affect refrigerator performance and is considered cosmetic, which is not covered under the extended warranty. Also found a slight air gap at the upper left corner of the freezer door gasket. Attempted to reshape the gasket using heat and added Permagum behind the gasket to improve the seal; however, the gap returned. Removed and rotated the freezer door gasket 90 degrees, but the condition remained. Recommend replacement of the freezer door, rail slides, and door gasket, as these components work together to control proper door alignment, closing, and sealing. Submitted the findings to the warranty company for authorization. The warranty company will contact the customer with further resolution.

Model: GUD27ESSM1WW Location: LeBelle, FL 33935 Checked dryer for not drying clothes. Upon arrival, found the dryer was producing heat but clothes were not drying properly. Checked the ventilation and found the dryer was not exhausting air outside. Disassembled the dryer and found the blower wheel had detached from the motor. Reattached and securely tightened the blower wheel. Reassembled and tested operation, verifying proper airflow and normal dryer operation. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: MED4500MW0 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33903 Repair Summary Checked dryer for not starting or advancing through a cycle. Upon inspection, found the timer knob cracked and broken. Customer had attempted to glue the knob back together; however, it still would not turn the timer properly. Removed the damaged knob and replaced it with a new one. Started a cycle and verified the timer now advances properly and the dryer cycles heat as designed. No other issues found. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: RF27T5241SR/AA Location: Cape Coral, FL 33993 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the upper ice maker not producing ice. Verified freezer temperatures are within the proper range. Cycled the upper ice maker and confirmed it harvested properly; however, the ice was slushy and not completely frozen. Removed the ice maker and found the ice room air route frozen and blocked (see picture). Explained to the customer that this is a common recurring ice room issue and will most likely return even if the ice maker, auger assembly, ice bin, and control board are replaced. Customer also has a lower ice maker, which was found turned off. Explained that the lower ice maker can be turned on and used instead. Refrigerator is cooling properly at this time.

Model: RF28N9780SR/AA Location: Cape Coral, FL 33993 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the Family Hub screen not responding and the fresh food section not cooling properly. Verified the screen is not responding and will require replacement. Inspected the cooling system and found the fresh food evaporator fan not operating along with water accumulating underneath the crisper drawers. The refrigerator will require a new Family Hub screen, evaporator cover assembly, and crisper leak repair kit. Due to the extent and cost of the required repairs, the customer elected to replace the refrigerator rather than proceed with repairs.

Model: KDFE104HPS1 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33904 Repair Summary Checked dishwasher for the upper rack not washing dishes properly and leaving residue. Tested operation and verified the dishwasher fills and washes properly. The wash motor is operating normally and was replaced less than a year ago. Inspected the upper spray arm and found seeds and other foreign material obstructing the spray openings (see pictures). Cleaned the debris from the spray arm and tested operation. Unit is now washing properly. If the issue returns, replacement of both spray arms may be necessary. Unit is working properly at this time.

Model: RF32CG5100SRAA Location: Cape Coral, FL 33909 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Upon arrival, found the compressor and fans running; however, the cabinet temperature was approximately 76°F. Connected HASS and ran a service diagnostic report with no error codes present. Inspected the compressor area and found an active roach infestation, including roaches around the condenser, compressor, and main control board. Due to the infestation, the refrigerator is not eligible for factory warranty repair. Additionally, the condition presents a health and sanitation concern, so we are unable to perform repairs on the unit. As a courtesy to the customer, the service visit fee was waived.

Model: LEV4634PQ0 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33990 Repair Summary Checked dryer for continuing to run when the door was opened. Tested operation and found the door switch was faulty. Provided the customer with an estimate for the repair, which was approved. Replaced the defective door switch and tested operation. Verified the dryer now shuts off properly when the door is opened and is operating normally (see video).
