- Samsung Washer / Dryer Combo - Leaking
Model: WD53DBA900HBA1 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33993 Repair Summary Checked washer for an intermittent water leak underneath the unit. Customer stated this has occurred at least twice. Noted the washer has a unique drain installation, with the main drain hose connected to an additional hose that runs behind the counters before reaching the drain (see video). Explained that this creates an unusually long drain run and is not a recommended installation, although the customer stated the same setup had been used for years with the previous washer without issue. Ran HASS diagnostics and found no error codes. Independently tested both the hot and cold water valves with no leaks found. Verified the washer drained properly with no leaks. Ran the HASS Overall Check, which passed, followed by a Rinse and Spin cycle, and still found no water leakage. Unable to duplicate the complaint or identify a source of the reported leak at this time. Advised the customer to record the washer if the leak occurs again. If the issue returns, additional diagnostic time will be needed to investigate further. Unit is working properly at this time.

Removed and replaced the ice maker and fill tubes. Cycled the ice maker and verified it operated properly and called for water with no leaks present. Removed the large block of ice from the ice bin and reinstalled the bin. Ran HASS service diagnostics and found no additional error codes. Verified refrigerator temperatures are within the proper range. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for normal ice production. Unit checks normal at this time.

Provided the customer with an estimate for drain pump replacement and initially proceeded with the repair. After replacing the drain pump, found the main control board would also need to be replaced to complete the repair. - Samsung Fridge - No Water Dispensing
Model: RF24R7201SR/AA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33907 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no water dispensing. Upon arrival, tested the dispenser with the water filter removed and verified good water pressure, indicating a faulty filter housing. Provided the customer with an estimate for the repair, which was approved. Replaced the filter housing. The water shutoff valve under the sink was extremely difficult to operate and would not turn, so the main water supply to the house had to be shut off to complete the repair. Made the customer aware of the shutoff valve issue. Restored the water supply and tested the dispenser. Verified water is now dispensing properly. No other errors or issues found at this time.
- Whirlpool Fridge - Ice Maker Freezing Over
Model: WRX735SDBM00 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33914 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a large block of ice forming in the ice bin. Upon inspection, found the ice maker fill tube frozen, indicating the water valve was leaking and allowing water to enter the ice maker when it should be closed. Provided the customer with an estimate for the repair, which was approved. Replaced the water valve, ice maker, and fill tube. Tested operation and verified proper water fill with no leaks present (see video). Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for normal ice production.
- Samsung Fridge - No Cool
Model: RS22T5201SR/AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Upon arrival, connected HASS and ran a service diagnostic report, including the Weak Cooling Test. Temperature history showed temperatures gradually rising over the previous week. Verified the compressor and fans were operating. Inspected the compressor area and found traces of oil around the condenser coupler. Performed a bubble test and confirmed a refrigerant leak at the connection. Removed and replaced the leaking coupler and installed a new filter drier and service port. During pressure testing, found a restriction on the high side caused by a small amount of glue blocking the capillary tube. Removed the affected section but did not have the additional coupler required to complete the repair. Returned with the required part and completed the sealed-system repair. Pressurized the system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and, after 15 minutes, recorded only a 0.5 PSI pressure drop, resulting in a passing pressure test. Evacuated the system to approximately 600 microns and recharged it according to factory specifications. Restored power and verified the compressor and all fans started properly with cool air circulating. Set temperatures accordingly and advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for proper cooling temperatures to be reached. Unit checks normal at this time.
- Samsung Fridge - No Cool
Model: RF24BB620012AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34134 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Unit had stored error codes for the inverter and a locked-rotor compressor. The inverter board was replaced initially; however, the error codes returned and the refrigerator stopped cooling again. On the return visit, replaced the inverter board again and completed a sealed-system repair, including compressor replacement (see attached photos). Pressure tested the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and bubble tested all accessible joints with no leaks found. After 15 minutes, pressure dropped only 2 PSI, resulting in a passing pressure test. Evacuated the system to approximately 600 microns and restored power. Verified the compressor and all fans started and operated properly. Set temperatures accordingly and ran a HASS service diagnostic report. All components are operating properly with no faults present. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for proper cooling temperatures to be reached. Unit checks normal at this time.

- Samsung Washer - Error Codes
Model: WA52DG5500AVUS Location: Cape Coral, FL 33909 Repair Summary Checked washer for an intermittent 4C error and a “Check Motor” message in the app. Tested both hot and cold water supplies and verified proper flow. Tested the motor during both wash and spin and found it operating properly. Ran HASS diagnostics and found the 4C water supply error stored in history. Removed the water inlet valve and found sediment buildup in the hot water valve. Replaced the water inlet valve and tested operation. Suspect the restricted water flow may have contributed to the motor working harder and triggering the motor warning. Verified proper operation with no leaks. Ran the HASS Overall Check and submitted a passing report to Samsung. Unit is working properly at this time.
