- Monogram Refrigerator - Display Blank & Beeping
Model: ZIPP360NHASS Location: Naples, FL 34119 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a no display and no interior lights complaint. Upon arrival, found the refrigerator turned off at the circuit breaker. After power was restored, the display and interior lights remained inoperative. Before disassembly, briefly observed the display respond with a beep and several "0" characters before going blank again, indicating a communication issue. Verified 120V AC was present at the main control board. Measured only 0.5V DC at the display power output, where 12–14V DC is required, confirming a failed main control board. Replaced the main control board and upon removing the original board, found visible heat damage and discoloration further confirming board failure. Installed the new control board and verified the display, interior lights, compressor, and all fans were operating properly. Set the temperatures to 37°F for the fresh food section and 0°F for the freezer. Advised the customer to allow up to 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach normal operating temperatures. Unit is operating properly at this time.
- Samsung Refrigerator - Sealed System Repair
Model: RF29BB8600QLAA Location: Cape Coral FL 33909 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a freezer not cooling properly. Upon arrival, verified the freezer temperature was elevated. Connected HASS and found only a high temperature error code. Performed the weak cooling test, which failed. Inspected the compressor compartment and found no visible oil residue or signs of a refrigerant leak at the lokring connections. No bubbles were detected during the initial inspection. Determined the unit required a filter drier replacement, installation of an access port, and a nitrogen pressure test to locate the leak. Returned and replaced the filter drier and installed an access port. Began pressure testing the sealed system with nitrogen and, at approximately 225–250 PSI, heard popping noises from inside the cabinet. A louder pop followed, and system pressure began dropping rapidly. Increased the pressure to 350 PSI; however, the system lost nearly 100 PSI within 5 minutes. Removed the evaporator covers and inspected for leaks using a leak detection solution but found no visible bubbles. Based on the rapid pressure loss and internal popping noises, confirmed the refrigerant leak is within the cabinet walls. The refrigerator has an internal cabinet leak and is non-repairable.

Model: NE58F9500SS/AA Location: Cape Coral, 33990 Repair Summary Checked oven for the front left and front right burners not regulating properly. The customer stated both burners remained on high when set to low. Upon inspection, found both infinite switches faulty. Replaced both infinite switches and tested operation. Verified both burners now regulate properly from high to low. Video taken for verification. Set the clock and confirmed no additional issues. Unit checks normal.
- Whirlpool Refrigerator - No Cool
Model: WRF560SEHZ02 Location: Saint James City, FL 33956 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for poor cooling. Upon arrival, found elevated temperatures in both the fresh food and freezer compartments, and the cabinet side panels were excessively hot. Pulled the refrigerator out and found the condenser fan motor was not operating despite receiving 120V AC. Advised the customer the condenser fan motor would need to be replaced and left a temporary fan behind the refrigerator to provide airflow and help with cooling until the return visit. Upon return, the customer stated the freezer never cooled back down despite the temporary fan. Inspected the evaporator and found no frost pattern on the evaporator coil, indicating a sealed system refrigerant leak. Explained to the customer that the failed condenser fan prevented an accurate sealed system diagnosis during the initial visit, as the lack of airflow alone could account for the cooling issue by raising refrigerant temperatures. Although the temporary fan resolved the overheating condition of compressor, the absence of a frost pattern confirmed an additional sealed system failure. Did not install the condenser fan motor. Reviewed the repair process with the customer, including the possibility of sealed system warranty coverage; however, the customer declined further repairs and elected to replace the refrigerator instead.
- Maytag Dryer - Loud Noise & No Heat
Model: MED7230HW3 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33909 Repair Summary Checked dryer for a loud rumbling noise. The customer stated the noise was most noticeable when the dryer shut off and the drum came to a stop. Upon inspection, found the blower wheel stripped and separated from the motor shaft, causing it to wobble. Removed the damaged blower wheel, replaced the motor assembly and blower wheel, and verified proper operation. The customer also reported the dryer was no longer heating. Checked the heating system and found the high-limit thermostat on the heater housing open due to restricted airflow. Replaced the high-limit thermostat and tested the dryer, verifying proper drum rotation and normal heating operation. During testing, found poor airflow through the exhaust vent and advised the customer to have the dryer vent professionally cleaned before continued use to prevent the high-limit thermostat from failing again. Unit is operating properly at this time.
- Monogram Gas Range - Clicking While Heating
Model: ZGP366NT2SS Location: LaBelle, FL 33935 Repair Summary Checked gas range for a complaint of the burner electrodes continuing to spark while the flame was lit on a low setting. The customer stated the concern only occurred on the center front burner, while all other burners operated normally. Verified the complaint and determined the issue appeared intermittent, with a possible short between the burner regulator and the spark igniter. Ordered and returned with both the spark module and igniter. After installing the new parts, tested the range and verified the center front burner no longer sparking while the flame was lit. During additional testing, observed the front left burner intermittently sparking on a medium-high flame. Contacted GE technical support and reviewed the findings. Tech support determined the flame was contacting the igniter electrode and recommended cleaning the burner caps and lightly dressing the surface of the igniter electrode. Although the burner caps were not excessively dirty, cleaned them and lightly polished the electrode surface as instructed. Retested all burners multiple times and verified they ignited properly and operated without additional intermittent sparking. Advised the customer to continue monitoring the unit. Unit checks normal at this time.
- Samsung Dryer - Noisy
Model: DV48J7770EW/A2 Location: Fort Myers, FL 33907 Repair Summary Checked dryer for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, confirmed an abnormal noise coming from the rear of the dryer during operation. Disassembled the unit and found one of the drum support rollers had come apart and was falling off the shaft. As soon as the roller was touched, it separated completely, confirming the source of the noise. Provided the customer with a repair estimate, which they approved. Replaced both rear drum support rollers and the roller shaft, then reassembled the dryer. Tested operation and verified the drum rotated smoothly, the heater operated properly, and all abnormal noises were eliminated. Unit checks normal.
- Samsung Refrigerator - No Cool
Model: RS28A500ASR/AA Location: Cape Coral, FL 33904 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a no-cooling complaint. Upon arrival, verified the compressor and all fans were operating. Connected HASS and found only high temperature error codes with no component failures reported. Inspected the sealed system and found oil residue at the condenser lokring connection, confirming a refrigerant leak (see attached pictures). Replaced the leaking lokring connection, installed a new filter drier, and added an access port. Pressure tested the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen, allowing a 10-minute equalization period followed by an additional 15-minute isolation test. Observed only a minimal pressure loss of approximately 1–2 PSI, indicating the sealed system was holding properly. Evacuated the system to a deep vacuum, charged the unit with the factory-specified 84 grams of R600a, and restored power. Ran a complete HASS diagnostic and submitted a passed overall check to Samsung. Verified the compressor and cooling system were operating normally and advised the customer to allow up to 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach the selected operating temperatures. Unit checks normal.
- Samsung Refrigerator - No Cool
Model: RF23A9771SR/AA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33913 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a no-cooling complaint. Upon inspection, found the inverter board displaying 4 flashes and retrieved active 84C (locked compressor), 41, and 83 error codes. Based on testing, determined the compressor had mechanically locked and would require replacement. Explained to the customer that the 41 and 83 communication-related error codes could also indicate a failed main control board; however, because the compressor had clearly failed, the compressor would need to be replaced first before determining whether the main control board also required replacement. Reviewed the sealed system disclaimer with the customer, explaining that while every effort is made to locate external refrigerant leaks prior to repair, an internal cabinet leak cannot always be confirmed until the sealed system is opened and repaired with a UV filter drier installed. Advised that if an internal cabinet leak were discovered, the refrigerator would be considered non-repairable and previously completed sealed system repairs and labor would be non-refundable. Based on this finding, the customer elected not to repair. No repairs were completed.
