Upon inspection, found a thick sheet of ice buildup on the freezer floor caused by a frozen drain tube. Provided the customer with an estimate for the additional labor, which was approved. Removed the ice buildup and cleared the frozen drain tube. Tested the drain and verified water is now flowing and draining properly. Checked the freezer door gasket and verified it is sealing and closing properly. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: RF23BB8600QLAA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33966 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the freezer door being difficult to open. Upon inspection, found the freezer drawer rails damaged with ball bearings coming out. The rails were also beginning to rust and producing black residue. Ordered replacement rails to correct the issue. Returned and installed the new freezer rails. Tested operation and verified the freezer drawer now opens and closes smoothly, with the customer also noting a significant improvement. Cleaned the black residue from the rail guides inside the freezer. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: NE63A8711QN/AA Location: North Fort Myers, FL 33917 Repair Summary Checked oven for no power. Upon arrival, verified proper incoming voltage to the main control board with 240V present and 120V on each leg. Found the sub PCB was not receiving DC voltage. Advised the customer that the main control board would need to be replaced first to restore DC voltage to the display circuit and that the display/sub PCB could also require replacement once power was restored and further testing could be completed. Replaced the main control board and verified 12V DC was now being supplied to the sub PCB; however, the display remained inoperative. Determined the sub PCB was also defective and ordered the additional part. Returned and replaced the sub PCB, restoring power and display operation. Set the clock and date, preheated the oven, and tested all surface burners. Verified the oven heats properly and all burners regulate from high to low as designed. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: MRT18D3BST Location: Punta Gorda, FL 33982 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for intermittent temperature fluctuations. Customer stated the refrigerator will sometimes cool properly and then begin freezing items. When the temperature setting is increased, the unit then becomes too warm. The refrigerator is installed in an outdoor kitchen area where ambient temperatures can reach approximately 120°F. This refrigerator is not rated for outdoor use. Verified the compressor and freezer evaporator fan are operating properly with good airflow and found no error codes on the inverter board. This model does not use a condenser fan and relies on surrounding ambient air to dissipate heat from the condenser and compressor area. The excessive outdoor temperatures can prevent the sealed system from properly rejecting heat and result in unstable compartment temperatures. Advised the customer they may try placing a fan near the compressor/condenser area to increase airflow and help dissipate heat; however, the proper solution is to relocate the refrigerator indoors to an air-conditioned environment within its designed operating range. No component failure was found at this time. Unit checks normal.

Model: RF23B7671SR/AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, the reported noise was not present. Cycled the ice makers and found no abnormal noises. Customer described the intermittent noise as metallic. Explained that the noise could potentially be coming from the compressor, as the internal compressor assembly is supported by springs and can occasionally produce metallic sounds during operation. Unable to duplicate the concern during the visit. Ran the HASS Weak Cooling Test and diagnostics, and the refrigerator passed all tests with no errors or cooling issues found. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: MVW6200KW0 Location: Cape Coral, FL 33993 Repair Summary Checked washer for a noise complaint during the spin cycle. Tested the unit and found the suspension rods worn and defective. Inspected underneath the washer and found evidence of oil leakage. Showed the customer and explained that the oil is coming from the transmission/gearcase and may indicate a developing failure. The gearcase is not currently producing abnormal noise but may require replacement in the future if the condition worsens. Customer elected to proceed with the suspension repair at this time. Replaced all four suspension rods and tested operation. Washer is now operating properly at this time.

Model: RF28T5001SR/AA Location: North Fort Myers, FL 33917 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the lower ice maker not producing ice. Upon arrival, found the lower ice maker turned off at the display. Turned the ice maker on and attempted to manually cycle it using the reset button, but received no response. Connected HASS and ran a service diagnostic report, which showed a communication error related to the ice maker. Determined the lower ice maker requires replacement. Provided the customer with the repair option, which they declined. All other refrigerator functions check normal at this time.

Model: WA45T3200AW/A4 Location: Lehigh Acres, FL 33971 Repair Summary Checked washer for not completing the spin cycle. Upon inspection, found all four suspension rods damaged and worn. Replaced all four suspension rods and ran diagnostics. Washer passed all tests with no error codes present. Unit is operating properly at this time.

Model: WED5100HC2 Location: Lehigh Acres, FL 33974 Repair Summary Checked dryer for no heat. Upon inspection, immediately found evidence of a significant pest infestation. Customer was made aware that infestation-related damage may affect warranty coverage. Inspected the dryer components and found the main control board contaminated by the infestation. Also found the heater electrical connection broken and melted at the mounting point, the heating element open, and significant debris buildup inside the dryer consistent with restricted ventilation. Determined the unit would require a new control panel, main control board, vent cover with wiring harness, and heater assembly. Due to infestation affecting the electronic components, the repair was not authorized by the warranty company. The warranty company will contact the customer regarding further resolution.
