- Samsung Fridge - No Cool
Model: RF32CG5400SRAA Location: Lehigh Acres, FL 33974 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a no-cooling complaint. Connected HASS and performed the Weak Cooling Test, which failed. Inspected the sealed system and found a refrigerant leak at the condenser Lokring connection. Replaced the leaking Lokring connection and filter drier. Pressure tested the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and recorded a 7 PSI pressure drop over 15 minutes, confirming the repair was successful. Evacuated the sealed system to a deep vacuum and recharged the refrigerator with the factory-specified refrigerant charge. Tested operation and verified the refrigerator is cooling properly. Advised the customer to allow up to 24 hours for temperatures to return to normal. Unit checks normal at this time.
- GE Microwave - No Display/Lights
Model: ZSC1202NSS01 Location: Naples, FL 34108 Repair Summary Checked microwave for no display or interior lights. Upon arrival, verified the fuse was good and the unit was receiving proper 120V incoming power. Found the magnetron thermostat burnt and damaged. When the thermostat was moved, the display and lights would intermittently power on, confirming the faulty connection. Advised the customer of the findings, and the customer elected to complete the repair himself. Also advised that if the microwave does not heat after replacing the thermostat, the magnetron, capacitor, and diode may also need to be replaced.
- GE Washer - No Drain
Model: PFW955SPW0DS Location: Naples, FL 34108 Repair Summary Checked washer for a no-drain complaint. Upon arrival, verified the drain pump was not operating. Replaced the drain pump and retested; however, the new drain pump still would not energize. Determined the main control board was not supplying power to the drain pump. Returned and replaced the main control board and programmed it to the correct settings according to GE specifications. Tested operation and verified the washer is now draining properly. No other issues found at this time.
- Whirlpool Range - Burner Issues
Model: WFG515S0EB0 Location: Fort Myers, FL 33966 Repair Summary Checked range for the front right burner not igniting. Upon inspection, found the burner igniter had broken off due to rust. Also found the burner cap could not be removed because the mounting screws are severely rusted. Advised the customer that the complete cooktop assembly would need to be replaced to complete the repair. Due to the repair cost exceeding the value of the unit, the customer declined the repair and will continue using the range until they purchase a replacement.
- LG Dryer - No Power
Model: DLEX9500K Location: Naples, FL 34109 Repair Summary Checked dryer for no power. Upon arrival, started by checking voltage at the outlet and found improper incoming power. Measured only 86V between L1 and L2 and 30V between Neutral and L1. Advised the customer that an electrician will need to inspect the outlet and electrical supply to determine the cause of the voltage issue. No repairs were made to the dryer. Returning the parts that were sent for the repair. Advised the customer to contact us if any further issues are found after the electrical problem is corrected.
- Samsung Fridge - No Ice
Model: RF28R7201SR/AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no ice production and the ice bucket being stuck in place. Upon arrival, found the customer was using an incorrect water filter and advised them to use a genuine Samsung filter. Found ice buildup along the side walls of the ice compartment. Replaced the auger assembly, ice maker, and damaged ice bucket. Ran HASS diagnostics and the unit passed all tests. Cycled the ice maker and verified it completed the cycle properly. All checks good at this time. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for ice production.
- Samsung Dryer - Running Continuously
Model: DVE52A5500V/A3 01 Location: Ave Maria, FL 34142 Repair Summary Checked dryer for the motor running continuously. Upon inspection, found a stuck relay on the main control board. Replaced the main control board and verified the motor now shuts off properly. Tested operation and confirmed the dryer is cycling heat and operating normally. Also found the existing dryer vent hose is damaged and leaking lint behind the unit. Advised the customer that the vent hose needs to be replaced. Unit checks normal at this time.
- Samsung Microwave - No Heat
Model: NQ70M6650DG/AA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908 Repair Summary Checked microwave for intermittent no-heat condition. Upon arrival, tested with a glass of water and found inconsistent heating results. The first test heated the water to 133°F, the second test only reached 87°F, and the third test reached 107°F, confirming sporadic heating. Determined the magnetron, capacitor, diode, and main control board would need to be replaced, as the control board supplies power to the magnetron. Returned and replaced the magnetron, capacitor, diode, and main control board. Tested the microwave multiple times and verified it consistently heated a cup of water to approximately 149°F on each test with no further heating inconsistencies. Reassembled the unit and performed a final test. All checks good at this time with no further issues found.
- Samsung Fridge - Broken Ice Maker
Model: RF29A9671SR/AA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33905 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the large cube ice maker being broken. Upon inspection, found the refrigerator has the older-style water pipes. Contacted Tech Support and was advised that both water pipes need to be replaced along with the damaged large cube ice maker. Checked the nugget ice maker and found it operating normally at this time. Verified proper water pressure to the refrigerator. Ordering both water pipes and the large cube ice maker to complete the repair.
- Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher - Low Water Pressure
Model: DD24DAX9N Location: Naples, FL 34109 Repair Summary Checked dishwasher for A6 and A7 error codes. Upon arrival, found the incoming water pressure was very slow and the lower wash motor was not operating properly. Replaced the water inlet valve and lower wash motor. Tested both compartments and verified both sides now fill quickly and wash properly. Unit is working properly at this time.
