Model: LFXC22596S Location: Cape Coral, FL 33909 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a water leak from the bottom left corner. Upon inspection, found water coming from behind the refrigerator and noted water damage to the adjacent cabinets and wall. Traced the leak to the household water supply line coming from the wall (see video). Verified the refrigerator water valve and internal valve are not leaking. Also found the refrigerator is being double filtered with an additional inline filter behind the unit. Advised the customer to remove the inline filter since the refrigerator already has its own filter, as double filtration may cause water pressure issues. Shut off the refrigerator water supply under the sink to prevent further leaking and recommended contacting a plumber to repair the household water line. Regarding ice buildup in the freezer, found only a minimal amount of frost consistent with the door being left open too long or not closing completely. Found the freezer rails were not extending fully and corrected them so the door now opens completely. Advised the customer to fully open the freezer door when accessing the compartment to prevent the rails from becoming misaligned. The frost is not affecting cooling and is unrelated to the water leak.
