Ran a HASS service diagnostic report and confirmed no additional error codes or component failures. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach proper cooling temperatures. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: NE63A6511SS/AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34134 Repair Summary Checked oven for error codes. Upon arrival, found the oven was set to Test Mode, which is an issue I have encountered several times before. Entered the settings and disabled Test Mode, then set the clock for the customer. Tested operation and verified the oven began heating properly with no errors or other issues. Also noticed the customer had a cover placed on the bottom of the oven cavity. Advised that this should not be used because it can cause damage that may not be covered by Samsung. Customer removed the cover immediately. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: RF23BB860012AA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Upon arrival, found the unit powered on but no components running. Connected HASS and ran a service diagnostic report, which showed several compressor and inverter error codes. Inspected the compressor area and confirmed the compressor appeared to have a locked rotor. Also found four flashes on the inverter board indicating a communication fault to the compressor, requiring replacement of the control board. Advised the customer that the control board portion of the repair is not covered under the warranty, while the sealed-system portion is covered. Customer understood. Also found a small amount of oil at the furthest condenser Lokring connection, indicating a refrigerant leak. Returned and replaced the compressor and filter drier and repaired the leaking condenser Lokring connection. Began pressure testing the sealed system with nitrogen. At approximately 200 PSI, heard popping noises coming from inside the side wall of the refrigerator. Increased pressure to 350 PSI, but the system immediately began losing pressure and could not maintain the test pressure. After approximately nine minutes, pressure had dropped more than 40 PSI. Further inspection confirmed a significant internal refrigerant leak at the evaporator/cabinet area. Reassembled the refrigerator and advised the customer of the findings. Samsung will contact the customer regarding further resolution.

Model: MVWB766FW1 Location: Bokeelia, FL 33922 Repair Summary Checked washer for excessive noise during the spin cycle and frequent off-balance conditions. Customer stated the gearcase had previously been replaced. Tested the suspension rods and found them worn, contributing to the off-balance condition. Inspected underneath the washer and found fresh oil leaking from the gearcase, confirming the gearcase had failed again. Determined the unit required another complete tub job along with replacement of the suspension rods. Began disassembling the washer for the repair but found the required gearcase had not been sent. Left the supplied parts on site and the washer disassembled until the correct gearcase could be obtained. Returned and completed the full tub job. Reassembled and tested the washer, verifying proper operation with no abnormal noise, off-balance condition, or water leaks (see video). Unit is working properly at this time.

Model: RF23BB89008MAA Location: Cape Coral, FL 33914 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no ice/slow ice production. Upon arrival, connected HASS and ran a service diagnostic report, which showed several stored error codes including high temperatures and a communication fault between the main control board and Family Hub. Ran the Weak Cooling Test and found the freezer averaging approximately 22°F, which is not cold enough for proper ice production. Inspected the compressor area and found evidence of a slight refrigerant leak at the condenser coupler. Performed a bubble test and confirmed the leak. Determined the refrigerator required a sealed-system repair along with replacement of the main control board and Family Hub to correct the communication fault. Returned and installed the ordered components and completed the sealed-system repair. Pressurized the system with 350 PSI of nitrogen and isolated it for 15 minutes, recording a 3.7 PSI pressure drop, resulting in a passing pressure test. Bubble tested all repaired joints and found no leaks. Evacuated the system to approximately 600 microns and recharged it according to factory specifications. Checked all components and verified the communication error had cleared. Set temperatures accordingly and advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for proper cooling and ice production. Customer understood. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: RF32CG5400MTAA Location: Lehigh Acres, FL 33974 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no cooling. Upon arrival, customer stated the refrigerator had started cooling normally again the previous day. Connected HASS and found a stored 21 error code for the freezer evaporator fan, which affects airflow and cooling in both the freezer and fresh food sections. Replaced the freezer evaporator cover assembly. During additional testing, found the large cube ice maker was not producing ice. Verified the ice maker was calling for water, but water was not passing through the filter housing. Ordered and replaced the filter housing. Tested operation after the repair and verified proper water flow was restored with no issues. Unit is operating properly at this time.

Model: MVWB765FW3 Location: Fort Myers, FL 33967 Repair Summary Checked washer for unbalanced operation. Upon arrival, found the suspension rods were very weak. Replaced the suspension assemblies and adjusted the front leveling feet, as the washer was not properly leveled. Tested with a load of towels using Drain and Spin and verified the washer is now spinning and draining properly with no unbalanced condition or other issues at this time.

Model: RF28R7201SR/AA Location: Lehigh Acres, FL 33936 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no ice production and a broken French door mullion assembly. Connected diagnostics and found an active 49 error code indicating an auger fan failure. Also confirmed a 39 ice maker error, which requires replacement of the ice maker and main control board. Inspected the ice system and also found the ice bucket cracked. The refrigerator will require a new auger assembly, ice bucket, ice maker, main control board, and French door mullion assembly. Due to the extent of the required repairs, the cost is beginning to exceed the value of the refrigerator. Customer will contact Samsung to see if any assistance is available.

Model: DW80CG4021SRAA Location: Lehigh Acres, FL 33971 Repair Summary Checked dishwasher for not starting. Upon arrival at the newly constructed home, found the water supply to the dishwasher was turned off under the sink. Turned the water supply back on and tested operation. Verified the dishwasher is now starting and operating properly. Unit checks normal at this time.

Model: RF28R7201SR/AA Location: Estero, FL 33928 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for a shelf stuck in place. Upon arrival, found a spill had caused the shelf to stick. Removed the clips securing the glass and found one of the clips used to remove the complete shelf assembly was broken, preventing the entire shelf from being removed. Removed the glass portion instead and showed the customer how to properly remove and reinstall the glass for cleaning. Checked the refrigerator for error codes and found an ice maker error. Replaced the ice maker and tested operation. All checks passed at this time. Also noted water pressure was slightly low and found the water filter had been installed since October. Advised the customer to replace the water filter to help improve water flow and ice production.
