  • Samsung Fridge - Weak Cooling & No Ice

Model: RS27T5200SR/AA Location: Cape Coral, FL 3314 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for weak cooling and no ice production. Tested the freezer fan and verified it was operating properly. Ran HASS diagnostics and found no error codes. Performed the Weak Cooling Test, which failed. Verified all fans and the compressor were running. Inspected the compressor area and found oil residue at a Lokring connection, indicating a refrigerant leak. Replaced the leaking Lokring connection and filter drier and installed an access valve on the compressor. Pressure tested the sealed system with 350 PSI of nitrogen for approximately 25 minutes and verified minimal pressure loss. Evacuated the system to a deep vacuum and charged with 84 grams of R600a refrigerant. Ran the HASS Overall Check and submitted a passing report to Samsung. Advised the customer to allow approximately 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach proper operating temperatures.

  • Samsung Fridge - AutoFill Pitcher Not Filling

Model: RF23BB86004MAA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33913 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for the AutoFill water pitcher not filling consistently. Upon inspection, found low water pressure coming from the reverse osmosis system under the sink. The refrigerator also has a water filter installed, which is further restricting the incoming water pressure. The low pressure causes the AutoFill pitcher to time out and stop filling, requiring time for the system to reset before it will operate again. Advised the customer to remove the refrigerator water filter and use the bypass to improve water pressure since the water is already being filtered through the reverse osmosis system. Also advised that continued low water pressure can contribute to component failures. Found stored ice maker error codes on the main control board; however, none were currently active. Customer stated the ice maker was repaired a couple of months ago and is currently working.

  • Whirlpool Fridge - Poor Ice Production

Model: WRF555SDFZ18 Location: North Fort Myers, FL 33917 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for poor ice production. Customer stated the unit was barely producing one batch of ice per day. Upon arrival, found the freezer temperature at approximately 36°F, which is not cold enough for proper ice production. Ice cream and other frozen items were soft. Inspected the ice maker and found the mold beginning to flake and peel, indicating the ice maker also requires replacement. Verified the compressor and condenser fan were running and found no visible signs of a refrigerant leak. Entered service mode and forced the freezer evaporator fan on, but found the fan was not producing proper airflow. Replaced the freezer fan assembly and ice maker; however, there was still no air circulation. Verified the control board was supplying approximately 12V DC to the fan circuit and suspected the replacement fan was defective. Returned with another new fan motor and experienced the same condition. Measured approximately 13.9V at the cabinet connector with the fan disconnected; however, voltage was lost once the fan was connected (see pictures). Although the connector in the ceiling appears visually normal, the internal cabinet connection appears unable to maintain proper electrical contact under load, preventing the evaporator fan from operating. The wiring and connector are incorporated into the refrigerator cabinet and cannot be accessed or repaired. Refrigerator remains unable to cool properly due to the inoperative freezer fan and is considered non-repairable.

  • Samsung Fridge - No Ice Or Water

Model: RF22KREDBSG/AA Location: Bonita Springs, FL 34135 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no ice and no water. Customer is using a generic water filter. Tested water flow and verified the dispenser produced approximately 8 oz of water in 8 seconds, indicating proper water pressure. No leaks found. The ice bucket is frozen in place and cannot be removed. Customer stated this issue has been repaired multiple times previously under Samsung warranty and continues to return. Customer elected to keep the ice maker turned off and discontinue using this feature. Verified all other components, including cooling, are operating properly with no error codes present. Unit checks normal at this time.

Customer stated the noise would stop when she pressed on the door. Tested the washer with a load of laundry using Rinse and Spin and confirmed a squeaking noise. Also noticed the washer was off balance. Traced the noise to loose screws on the front panel frame (see video). Tightened both lower frame screws and properly leveled the washer. Tested again and verified the noise is no longer present (see video). Advised the customer to avoid excessively large loads, as they can cause unbalanced conditions. Ran the HASS Overall Check and submitted a passing report to Samsung.

  • Samsung Fridge - No Ice / Intermittent Cooling Issues

Model: RF32CG5900SRAA Location: Fort Myers, FL 33912 Repair Summary Checked refrigerator for no ice production and intermittent cooling issues. Customer reported multiple concerns, including water pipe error codes, intermittent cooling, and the Family Hub display intermittently not powering on. Found error code 41 stored on the main control board related to the Family Hub. Customer also stated the freezer had stopped cooling but later resumed. Checked the freezer temperature and found it at approximately 2°F, which is currently within normal range. Based on the intermittent display and communication issues, the refrigerator would require replacement of the Family Hub assembly and main control board, which may also be contributing to the intermittent cooling concern. The water pipes would also need to be replaced to address the water system errors. Due to the extent and cost of the required repairs exceeding the value of the refrigerator, the customer elected not to proceed and will replace the unit instead.

  • Samsung Washer - No Start

Model: WA44A3205AW/A4 Location: Lehigh Acres, FL 33971 Repair Summary Checked washer for not starting. Upon inspection, found a 4C error code indicating a water supply issue. Ran a spin cycle with wet sheets and verified proper operation after adjusting the load for balance. Uploaded videos documenting the repair and testing. Also advised the customer not to push the washer too far back, as the hot water supply line was becoming pinched behind the unit. Washer is working properly at this time.
